Job Title: Office Administrator/Reception CE Scheme

Location: Castlemaine Community Services

Job Type: Part-time

Reports To: CE Supervisor

Rate: CE Scheme 19.5 hours per week. Some evening and weekend hours may be required based on centre needs.

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and organised Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the community centre, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment. This role involves administrative support, customer service, and coordination of office activities, including bookkeeping and financial administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist service users and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage office communications, including phone calls and emails.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and events.
  • Provide administrative support to the CE Supervisor and Board of Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality with service users at all times.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams and SharePoint,
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is a plus.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
